The Book of World Records (TBWR) officially certified world record of ‘most capital punishments secured by a state prosecution department in one year’ had been achieved by Madhya Pradesh Prosecution Department from India.
During Jan 01-Dec 31, 2018; MP Prosecution Department secured judicial judgment for capital punishment in Twenty One (21) cases. All the cases were related to rape & murder.
Cases were led by Mr. Rajendra Kumar (IPS & Director General of Prosecution Department).
