Is it free to apply?
Yes. Applying is completely free. Certification fees apply only after your record is approved, and every option and its fee is shown before you pay.
Who can apply?
Anyone, from any country - individuals, groups, schools, institutions and organisations. Indian applicants pay in INR (plus GST); all other applicants pay in USD.
How do I send my evidence?
After you apply, our records team emails you from records@thebookofworldrecords.com with what is needed - typically video, photographs and witness statements. You simply reply with your evidence.
What do I receive if my record is approved?
You choose a certification option: a Digital Certificate, a Premium digital package, a certificate with medal and badge delivered by post, or on-site verification by an adjudicator. Every certified record also gets a public page.
How can anyone verify a record?
Every certificate carries a record number. Anyone can enter it on our verification page to confirm the record is genuine and see its details.
Can an adjudicator attend our event?
Yes. Schools, festivals and institutions can invite our adjudicators to judge an attempt on the spot. Request adjudication through tbwr.org.
