The Book of World Records (TBWR) officially certified world record of ‘most Jain monasticism bestowed by a muni’ had been achieved by Maha Manishi Santshiromani Digambar Jainacharya Shri Vidyasagar ji Mahamuniraj from India.
During Dec 18, 1975 – Jul 31, 2015; Three Hundred Twenty Nine (329) people were bestowed Jain monasticism by Mahamuniraj.
50th renunciation ceremony of mahamuniraj had been organized by Sanyyam Swarna Mahotsav Samiti and coordinated by J K Jain.
