Tripura Santiniketan Medical College in Tripura set the record for the highest state-wide enrolment in the first academic session of a medical college. In 2024, the college began its first academic year with 150 MBBS students, approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The first batch included students from 21 different states across India, showing the college’s wide appeal and success in attracting talent from all over the country. This record was confirmed on February 15, 2025.
