Deep Chakraborty (born October 31, 2000) from Hooghly, West Bengal, cultivated 30 varieties of Hibiscus through cross-pollination, registering two, ‘Bengal Sunrise’ (October 31, 2021) and ‘Moonlight Yellow’ (November 9, 2021), with the International Hibiscus Society. He also contributed a chapter to ‘Text Book on Floriculture’ (Volume 1) under guidance from Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya scientists, verified on November 24, 2021.
