Under the guidance of Rakesh Kumar, the eternal Akhand Jyoti has been continuously lit at Shri Ramayan Mandir, Gandhi Maidan, Jehanabad, Bihar (since 25 December 2018). Alongside this, an uninterrupted recitation of Akhand Ramcharitmanas and continuous Akhand Sitaram Naam Sankirtan (since 25 December 2020) have been carried out day and night—through summers, monsoons, winters, festivals, and even during the COVID-19 pandemic—making it the longest ongoing devotional observance of its kind anywhere in the world.
In addition, the temple hosts regular Sundarkand recitations, daily chanting of Hanuman Chalisa, and sacred Havans, all performed with unwavering devotion.
This temple stands as the only place in India where such an extraordinary combination of spiritual activities is conducted simultaneously, making it truly the rarest of the rare. The priests and devotees here are deeply committed to preserving this tradition for eternity.
Their dedication is not merely a display of faith but a profound act of safeguarding ancient traditions for future generations. Such unwavering devotion deserves to be etched in history like a timeless monument, serving as an inspiration for the world.
