Longest kiritanpo (rice around a skewer)

The Book of World Records officially recognizes that The longest Kiritanpo measures 5.12 m (16 ft 9.57 in) and was made by Volunteer Group of Cooking Longest Kiritanpo at Akita Kosen & Yonago Kosen (Japan), at Youki na Kasan no Mise, in Odate, Akita, Japan on 11 November 2018. Kiritanpo is known as local food in Akita prefecture. The attempt was a joint project held between National Institute of Technology, Yonago College and National Institure of Technology, Akita College. Kiritanpo made for the attempt was eaten in soup by 88 people.
