The Book of World Records officially recognizes that The longest marathon drumming by an individual is 150 hr 1 min and was achieved by Allister Brown (UK) in Lisburn, County Antrim, UK, from 16 July to 22 July 2023.
Allister made this attempt to raise awareness of pancreatic cancer and in memory of his late partner. His efforts raised over £25,000 for two pancreatic cancer and mental health support charities. This is his third time achieving the record, having previously managed 58 hours in 2003 and 102 hours in 2008.
