The Book of World Records officially recognizes that The longest journey with a fridge is 1,650 km (1,025.26 miles) and was achieved by Tony Hawks (UK) travelling across Ireland between 6 May and 30 May 1997. The route was Dublin-Cavan – 150km > Cavan- Donegal Town- 120km > Donegal Town – Dunfanaghy – 100km > Dunfanaghy – Dungloe – 50km > Dungloe-Sligo 150km > Sligo-Westport 150km > Westport-Galway 100km > Galway-Kilrush 130km > Kilrush-Killarney 100km > Killarney-Skibbereen 150km > Skibbereen-Cork 100km > Cork-Wexford 200km > Wexford-Dublin 150km Tony hitchhiked along the route.
