At the 2004 Athens Olympics, Iranian weightlifter Hossein Rezazadeh clean-and-jerked 263.5 kilograms in the super-heavyweight division, a mark that stood as a world record for years afterward. He also held the snatch record in the same class. The International Weightlifting Federation restructured its weight categories in 2018, so his marks are now historical rather than currently active records.
