Largest Ceviche Tasting Event

On October 19, 2019, roughly 1,000 people gathered at a naval base in Callao, Peru, to simultaneously sample small portions of ceviche, Peru's signature raw-fish dish marinated in citrus. Organized with Peru's navy and a local university, the event used dozens of kilograms of fish prepared in several regional styles. It set the Guinness World Record for the largest ceviche tasting event ever held.
