The Book of World Records (TBWR) officially certified world record of ‘largest edifice simulating conch shell’ had been achieved by Dr. Mukesh Somchand Shah at Palitana, Gujarat, India.
On Nov 26, 2010; Dr. Shah from Adinath Developer, constructed a conch shell simulating Jain temple with dimensions of 49 x 20 x 25 (length x width x height) feet.
The temple had been built in fifty four days without using iron.
