A single hand-knotted carpet made in Iran and assembled in Abu Dhabi covered roughly 5,630 square meters, making it the largest hand-woven carpet ever documented. Weavers pieced the rug together from nine separately woven sections before installing it inside a mosque. The feat highlights Iran's centuries-old tradition of Persian carpet weaving.
