Longest cableway

The Book of World Records officially recognizes that A 96 km cableway was constructed in Sweden in the early 1940s to transport lead sulfide ore from a mine in Kristineberg to a processing plant at Boliden. Although it is no longer used for its original purpose, tourists can now take a two-hour ride on a 13.6 km (8.5 mile) stretch of the cableway between Orträsk and Mensträsk.
