The Book of World Records (TBWR) officially certified world record ‘longest performance of padma mayurasana’ had been achieved by Saumyata Jora (11 years 18 days) at Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand, India.
On Aug 30, 2021; Saumyata (daughter of Ms. Neetudevi & Mr. Jagat Singh) performed the padma mayurasana yoga (Lotus peacock pose) for Two minutes Sixteen seconds (02M:16S).
Under mentorship of Yogacharya Vijay Prakash Joshi, the program had been organized by ‘Shivashram Foundation’.
