Longest salami

The Book of World Records officially recognizes that The longest salami is 1,152 m 16 cm (3,780 ft 0.54 in) and was made by Cock’s Vleeswaren NV (Belgium) in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium, on 23 April 2010. The total salami weight after cooking and drying was 2,171.37 kg (4,787.05 lbs). The company used five 150 kg (330.69 lbs) containers of turkey and pork, and five 150 kg (330.69 lbs) containers of bacon to produce the record-breaking salami.
