The Book of World Records (TBWR) officially certified world record “most people planting saplings simultaneously” had been achieved by Forest and Climate Change Department from Korba, Chhattisgarh, India. On Jul 15, 2024; Two Thousand Two Hundred Seventy Three (2273) people had planted saplings simultaneously at Bhalusatka, Korba. Mr. Aravind P. M. (IFS) led the ‘Korba Van Mahotsav 2024’ organized to promote environmental awareness and community participation. Previous World Record: The Book of World Records (TBWR) officially certified world record ‘most people planting saplings simultaneously’ was achieved by Green life Foundation from Sacramento, California, USA. On Aug 19, 2022; One Thousand Three Hundred Forty Seven (1347) people planted the saplings simultaneously. The initiative was aimed to aware people for environment and make them caretaker of a plant.
