Only Statue in the World with Its Own Official Wardrobe

Brussels' small bronze fountain-statue of a urinating boy, known as Manneken Pis, has amassed a wardrobe of well over 1,000 costumes donated by visiting dignitaries, organizations, and countries since the 18th century. City staff regularly dress the statue in these outfits for festivals and special occasions, and the collection is housed in its own dedicated museum. It is often cited as the only statue in the world maintained with a formal costume wardrobe of this kind.
