A seventh-century Khmer stone inscription found near Angkor Borei, dated to the year 683 and cataloged as K-127, contains what many scholars consider the oldest confirmed written use of zero as a numeral. It predates other early zero symbols found in India and elsewhere by several decades. The inscription is now held in Cambodia's National Museum in Phnom Penh.
